- We have released a new version of FileQuest XP Gold (v5.0 Beta). This version is a beta version.

The beta version only runs on Windows XP/Vista.

v5.0 does not include any new features. It updates FileQuest XP Gold  to run with Vista and includes many bug fixes among them one that prevented FileQuest XP Gold from running on XP.

06/16/07 - New Release Policy

We are changing the way we release our software. Instead of 1-2 yearly updates, we plan to release a new version every month. This change will first apply to FileQuest XP Gold.

In the Internet era, everything moves fast, we want to be a part of it. Since the release cycle is so short, we are labeling this version as Beta. We are moving to a 3 weeks development and one week of testing. Since we believe one week is too short for testing any software, the release will be labeled as beta.

The beta version are open to all our users, including those who did not purchase life time upgrades. However every 12 months we will make the beta an official release. At this point, only users with "Life Time Free Upgrades" license will be able to upgrade to it.

Also, all our new releases will only support Windows XP/Vista.
