FastSplit Gold is a complete easy to use solution for splitting and merging files. It can be run from the command line, batch file or from the user interface.

FastSplit Gold Installation Problems

If you encounter problems installing FastSplit Gold, please follow theses steps:

Make sure your current installed version of FastSplit Gold is not running
Clear your c:\temp and C:\windows\temp folders.
Delete all fsgold*.exe files from you computer (be sure to search for it).
Download FastSplit Gold again and save it (don't run it yet!).
Right click on the downloaded file and select ‘Extract To’, select a brand new folder
After extraction is complete, run setup.exe from the new folder.

FastSplit Gold Unlocking Problems

If FastSplit Gold fails to unlock, please make sure you have followed our instruction to unlock it. Especially pay attention to the following details:

When starting FastSplit Gold, an unlock dialog should open, if you don’t see an unlock dialog or see a trial dialog, you are not running the correct version. Make sure you are running FastSplit Gold from the right shortcut.

If you get an error message that FastSplit Gold can’t find the license file, make sure to copy it to the folder mentioned in the message.

If you get an error that the information typed in the Unlock dialog is incorrect, make sure to enter the exact information you have received from us. Capitalization of letters and spaces should be the exact same.

Note that if you are attempting to install FastSplit Gold again in order to unlock it, you need to close FastSplit Gold first.

LICENSE AGREEMENT

IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING.

By installing this package containing the SOFTWARE you indicate your agreement to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, promptly return this unopened package and all accompanying material to the place of purchase for a refund. This agreement continues in effect until you destroy or return to us all these materials and all copies made.

PiQuest Software, INC. SOFTWARE LICENSE

1) GRANT OF LICENSE. PiQuest Software, Inc. grants you a single, non-exclusive license to use the SOFTWARE provided you agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement. If you have more than computer at home and you use the software for personal usage, you are entitled for another license.

2) COPYRIGHT. Copyright and other laws concerning software and intellectual property protect the SOFTWARE in part and not exclusively. You may make copies solely for the purpose of reasonable back up of the software to support your individual fair use of the program. You agree not to electronically transmit this program, or make it available to multiple users through a network configuration. No right to create a derivative work is conveyed by this license.

3) OTHER RESTRICTIONS. You acknowledge that you do not become the owner of the SOFTWARE (software, programs and/or documentation). You agree not to transfer, rent, lease, sub-license, reverse engineer, modify, translate, or share the SOFTWARE, diskettes, or manual with any other person or firm.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Limited Warranty. While we have attempted to ensure the reliability of the SOFTWARE, PiQuest Software, Inc. cannot assume any liability for damage that occurs because of usage of this program, whether or not in accordance with the instructions or specifications. It is not possible to guarantee the program's performance under all circumstances, at all times, with all hardware and software configurations, and with any user data, programs, or series of commands. PiQuest Software, Inc. warrants any diskette media and manual to be free from defects in materials or manufacture for a period of 30 days from your receipt. When you install this package or use the SOFTWARE you indicate you accept this as the only warranty. You agree that regardless of the form of any claim, PiQuest Software, Inc.'s liability for any damages or loss to you or anyone else shall not exceed the price paid for use of the program.

NO OTHER WARRANTIES. Except for the warranty described in the above paragraph, there are no warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties are expressly and specifically disclaimed.

NO LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall PiQuest Software, Inc. or its suppliers, if any, be responsible for any special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, business interruption, loss of information, or any other loss) arising out of the use of the inability to use this product, even if PiQuest Software, Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

EVALUATION LICENSE

EVALUATION AND REGISTRATION

This is not free software. You are hereby licensed to use the evaluation version of FastSplit Gold for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 50 days. If you use this software after the 50 day evaluation period a registration fee is required. Unregistered use of FastSplit Gold after the 50-day evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

U.S. Government Restricted Rights

The SOFTWARE and documentation are subject to export controls under the United States Export Administration Act, as amended, which Act prohibits exports of certain commodities and technical data, including software, to specified countries. In particular, the SOFTWARE may not be exported to Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria. You hereby certify that neither the SOFTWARE nor the documentation will be transmitted or forwarded outside of your country.

If you acquired this product in the United States, this Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
